Our courses are aimed at preparing students for a career in Performing Arts, or helping them to progress to the next stage of their training. BTEC courses allow students to work across a range of contextual units which provide a theoretical basis to underpin the practical elements of the course. Great emphasis is placed on developing technique and nurturing talent. Weekly tutorials run alongside the course offering feedback to students which aids them with information, advice and guidance. (Studio 76 is accredited by the Matrix quality standard).
All of our tutors are highly skilled and currently work professionally in their chosen field therefore bringing relevant and up to date training to our students. Studio 76 has a management agency that runs alongside the college. This enriches students on the course and enables them to work professionally at the same time as training.
This two year full-time Performing Arts Programme is designed for students passionate about making it in the dance and Musical Theatre world. All places are fully funded and can be studied alongside GCSE’s, A Levels and Teaching qualifications.
Successful completion of this course equips students with the knowledge and understanding to progress to other higher vocational training.
